What an absolutely *perfect* day.  I'm still floating on cloud 9, and not entirely sure it wasn't all a dream ;-)

Just popping on to post a few favorites from some recent engagement sessions. 

First up we have Kevy and Justin, who's wedding is right around the corner!  We met up on a perfect summer evening and rocked it out in some beautiful light!!!  LOVE this shoot

You may remember Carrie's beautiful maternity session, featured just a few posts down.  Well, her little guy is here!  And he is just perfect.

Just got back from this beautiful 'up north' wedding.  here's a couple of teaser pics to tide everyone over while I dig my way out of my inbox ;-)

This was pretty much a perfect wedding.  Gorgeous venue, gorgeous weather, whimsical details, and happy, happy people!  Can't ask for much more ;-)  Some favorites from Lauren and Steve's fabulous Cherry Creek wedding last month:

Carrie runs the Ann Arbor Pure Barre studio, where I've been regularly getting my butt kicked in preparation for the big day this month (eeek!  I can't even say "next moth" anymore!).  Anyhow - I was thrilled when her and Corey approached me about some maternity and newborn photos. 

They are the sweetest couple - so in-love, and so excited to be parents!  And Carrie has got to be one of the loveliest pregnant women I've ever seen - she makes it look so beautiful and effortless.

What a crazy couple of months it's been here at abby rose photo!  I've been blessed to have so many amazing clients this season and have been busy, busy, busy!  This is all good, of course ;-)  But - the blog has been waaaay behind.  I just thought I'd take a minute and share some peeks at what I've been up to this last month!  These are all sessions I hope to blog more of - but, the priority right now is actually getting images to my clients!  So - if you've been watching and wondering why you haven't seen your photos posted, it's not because I don't think they're amazing.  I've just been REALLY busy (and add planning my own wedding into the mix and things get REALLY nutso!). 

Soooo....without further ado, here is a preview of what's to come!!

Here's the lovely natali, who celebrated her bat mitzvah back in May (I posted some of these on facebook but they haven't made the blog just yet!)

We had SUCH a fun day with Chris and Jeanine shooting around Ann Arbor.  These two live in Florida and are getting married there next year - but, Chris did his undergrad at U of M and proposed here, so A2 is a special place for this couple ;-)  They flew in just to do this shoot with me - how awesome is that?!  I think it's clear from these photos how totally in-love and happy they are - truly, a joy to photograph.  I'm jealous of whoever gets to shoot the actual wedding ;-) 

SO MANY images I just love from our session - it was hard to narrow it down to just a handful to blog! 

Jeanine looked gorgeous - LOVED her dress!  Makeup by my pal Amanie, hair by the always fab Julie of Imagine3.

This was just a great wedding day - one of those perfect, easy weddings where everything just goes so well.  The weather, the couple, the venues - everything was just gorgeous!  Matt and Kirsten, and their friends and family, were so nice and easy to work with (even though I kept calling Kirsten "Kristen" all day!).  Here's a selection of favorites from the day
